Yep! 99% of our eSIMs can be topped up within the ZenSim app with just a couple of clicks. If you run out of data, need more days, or you even want to add a new destination to the same eSIM, you can do all of this in the top up section in the Zen Garden in the app.
Log into the app, navigate to the Zen Garden to find your Timor-Leste service, and you will see a button to up your eSIM right there.
Top up plan options: Timor-Leste top up plans are the same as the plans on the website except with a 10% discount!
Extending a long trip: If you're travelling to Timor-Leste for more than 30 days, you can add as many top ups as you need to your first eSIM to extend the days and data you have. Each top up will only take effect when the previous eSIM is expired so you can purchase the top ups any time you want without worrying about overwriting your existing plan.
Multi country top ups: You can now add multiple countries to most of our eSIMs via top up, so if you're in Europe for example and are stopping over in Dubai on the way home, you can add a Dubai top up to your Europe eSIM so you don't need to reinstall anything. Alternate country top ups will only activate when you arrive in the new country.
Once activated in Timor-Leste, your eSIM typically won’t function outside that country.
If you're planning to hop between countries, we recommend checking out our regional Travel eSIMs - they’re made for multi-country use and cover most major regions.
You bet there is! Once you purchase an Timor-Leste eSIM you will be able to access your unique referral URL which you can share with your travel buds.
If they click the URL and purchase a plan they will save A$5 on their order and you will receive a A$5 voucher on your account which will be automatically applied on your next purchase (provided they are a new customer of course).
You can track your referrals and access your referral URL in the ZenSim app. Check out our terms for more info.
Only on unlimited plans, and only past 3GB in a single day - which is a generous amount, considering most travellers use less than 1GB daily.
If you do go past 3GB, your speed will be limited to 1Mbps until midnight, when it resets and you're back to full speed again.
Fixed-data plans (10GB, 20GB, etc.) don't have any daily throttling - you're free to use your data at whatever pace suits you until the plan's used up. We'll flag it before you run out, and topping up takes just a couple of taps in the ZenSim app.
Not at all - installing early doesn't use up any of your days or data, and it doesn't set a start date either. Everything stays dormant until you actually land in Timor-Leste.
Once you arrive, and provided you've already installed it, your eSIM activates automatically and your plan's official start date is that moment of arrival.
The end date follows on from there - it'll expire once your data or days run out, whichever happens first (or just the days if you've gone unlimited). A 30-day plan gives you a full 30 days from the moment you land in Timor-Leste, no matter how far in advance you bought or installed it.
Definitely - our eSIM compatibility checker is built exactly for this. Punch in your phone details and you'll get an instant answer on whether it works with our Timor-Leste eSIM and networks.
Want a second opinion, or something seems off? Message us and we'll help you out. And even if you do end up buying and it turns out your phone can't use it, our refund policy means a full refund - so there's genuinely no downside to trying.
Absolutely - that's exactly what our 100% money back guarantee is there for.
Whether your trip gets cancelled, your phone turns out not to be eSIM-compatible, or your plans just change and you can't use it anymore, you're covered.
All the details live in our refund policy, but the short version is simple: if you can't install or use the eSIM, we'll refund you in full. Nobody should pay for a plan they can't use.
