Yep! 99% of our eSIMs can be topped up within the ZenSim app with just a couple of clicks. If you run out of data, need more days, or you even want to add a new destination to the same eSIM, you can do all of this in the top up section in the Zen Garden in the app.

Log into the app, navigate to the Zen Garden to find your Maldives service, and you will see a button to up your eSIM right there.

Extending a long trip: If you're travelling to Maldives for more than 30 days, you can add as many top ups as you need to your first eSIM to extend the days and data you have. It might, but only if you're on an unlimited plan and only after you pass 3GB in a single day - which is well above what most people actually use (under 1GB a day on average).

Once you hit that 3GB mark, your speed drops to 1Mbps until midnight, then resets back to full speed for the new day.

If you're on a fixed-data plan like 10GB or 20GB, none of this applies - there's no daily limit, just use your data as needed until the plan runs out. We'll notify you beforehand, and you can top up right away in the ZenSim app.

There's no fixed start date the moment you buy it - your plan sits dormant until you actually arrive in Maldives, so buying and installing it early doesn't cost you any data or days.

Once you land, provided the eSIM is already installed, it activates automatically and that's your official start date.

Your expiry date follows on from there - the plan ends once either your data or your days run out, whichever comes first (or just the days, if you're on unlimited). So a 30-day plan expires 30 days after you land in Maldives, regardless of when you originally bought it.
